I've been meaning to write an article for LinkedIn.
You know LinkedIn?
It's the business version of Facebook where everyone makes themselves look better than they really are for the sole purpose of being hired because ... they're not ... or they're seriously underemployed ... or have diagnosable grandiose visions of themselves.
The biggest rushes about LinkedIn are (1) How many people endorse you; and, (3) Who's looked at your profile.
Otherwise it's pretty boring.
I've maxed out in endorsements for "Leadership" and "Public Speaking" but also have a few for "Successful Farting in meetings" and "Manipulating Employees for Personal Gain" ... it's 99+ on the first two and only 2 on the later.
Anyway ... my LinkedIn page is incredible!
People love me though their endorsements ... which are nothing more than "Pop Ups" asking ... "Do you endorse Micheal for "Naked Writing on the Back Deck?" or "Public Praying."
Of course you do!
Lately though I notice everyone on LinkedIn is writing articles to draw more attention to themselves.
It's primarily because nobody gives a shit about them but ... God Bless their little hearts ... they think people still care.
People could care less.
Just check the number of people who've checked your page.
Yep ... those really are crickets chirping.
So ... the most important thing YOU ... as a great Leader ... on LinkedIn ... needs to do today ... is something for yourself.
1. Skip work and love your spouse for hours until they beg you to stop.
2. Go to the Beach and Skinny Dip.
3. Elude the Police.
4. Listen to good music.
5. Tell someone to "Go to Hell."
If you do these things, you're leading your own life.
Living doesn't get any better than that!
