"You can't write about this," Sarah admonishes at dinner.
The girls giggle under their breaths, cut their eyes at me but don't say anything.
I stare out of the window and sigh.
What my wife is referring to is a volatile situation we find ourselves in coping with and other people are involved.
My writing about it could make things worse.
I can already see the story in my head, with all of the gory details, lies, deceits and betrayals ... a tale exploring the unanswerable questions ... why do bad things happen to good people ... why don't people do what they say ... where is God when you really need him?
It'll be a great story!
It could make the world a better place if I write it ... generating an honest discussion of such universal issues ... breaking down barriers ... bringing people closer together ... teaching the world to sing in three part harmony.
But ... it ain't gonna happen.
My wife told me not to write about it.
