Pancreatic cancer left me with active spots on my liver, cancerous lymph nodes were cut out as were, a little later, melanoma. And now, it seems I have prostate cancer too.
"You know what?" I told Bill Berry (not the former drummer for REM but the other one), "I think I'll go ahead and get them all. You know, complete the set."
You could use a score card," he offers. "It's getting hard to keep up."
"Right?!"
The next day, Bill sends me a scorecard, a marvelous poster of colored ribbons signifying every cancer currently being treated.
He even went ahead and marked the cancers I already have.
How thoughtful is that?
I send it to Sarah who concurs it's "funny", though she and I find humor in lots of things no one else thinks is funny at all.
So, if you want to play along, print out a copy of the score card so you can keep up and make the most of it like we do.
AND, our kids are already working on a BINGO score card and doesn't that sound even more fun?
