Life is good today (Grace)

Grace is what makes life not fair.

I suppose there are other things too ... but grace ... well ... it mixes and jumbles everything ... foiling our plans ... making us do things that we would have never planned ... putting people in our lives we would never have expected ... making us love when love is the last thing are looking for.

Last night we lost the laundry and swam in the night.

It was so Tybee.

It was an evening full of grace.

I have no idea how I got home.

It makes me wonder if Conner is here.

But I woke in the arms of love and now sit on the beloved back deck (sans the laundry) admiring the beauty of the place.

Pandora sings to me.

Fran's thousand shades of green look over me.

A choir of birds harmonize.

The elephant ears have exploded into yellow blossoms that counter the red Hibiscus blooms which are everywhere.

Beauty abounds.

Salt air hangs in the air. The ocean sings in the distance. Seagulls sing.

Life is good today ... Samuel Adams sang last night ... with Gordo playing damn good live music ... (my dear friend Dedra tells me this is a country music song. Who cares? Teachers don't listen very well).

But I sit here this morning ... after a very shitty couple of years ...

Happy ...

Content ...

Naked ...

Life is good today

The morning drips in beauty.

Graceful beauty.

So ...

What am I going to do today?

Nothing.

And everything.

Life is good today.

Hey God!

Bless tonight too.

Thanks.
