The Best Way To Approach Every Day

One of the things about writing every day and "putting it out there" for the entire world to see is ... the entire world can always see.

Most are far too private to publically share feelings and fears, successes and failures, love and loss ... so they don't.

Instead, they post cute posters with deep sayings, funny videos, pictures of their kids, beautiful scenery and such.

Too many hide behind political rants, religious demagogy, popular causes and self righteous proclamations which is why Facebook has so much crap on it.

If you've ever played "Hide-and-Seek" it takes a lot of energy, intense concentration and waiting in solitude to hide.

It's far too much work as far as I'm concerned.

"I'm pretty transparent," I say to a person interviewing me for a job. "Just Google me."

"We like that!" he said.

Except they didn't.

I wasn't hired.

It's alright.

I'd rather be authentic.

Most rise every day to take up the cause ... fight for the candidate ... find something to believe in ... search for something to enjoy ... bide their time ... and just make it through the day.

I get up and ... after tending to myself a little bit and to Sarah a lot ... share me with whoever happens to be interested.

It's a lot like praying.

I think about the things bubbling to the top of who I am ... celebrate them ... write them out ... and share them.

It's different from meditation where you go through the same steps except ... you keep them.

There's no great story or insight today ... no funny fiction or poking fun at things taking themselves WAY too serious ... just me sharing who I am, where I'm at and why.

I think it's the best way to approach every day.

There's way too much hiding going on in the world.

So I'll show you me.

You show me you.
