We're so tried, collapsed on the sofas, because it's all too much! The Cancer, navigating American Health, raising daughters in todays world, the post pandemic work environment and how much everything costs!
It's just so exhausting!
We are beyond tired.

Sarah and I stop complaining and look at our daughter who proceeds to do a really good impersonation too!
Laughter explodes.
Just as we capture our breath, Che returns dressed exactly as her Mom and does another spot on impersonation.
Again we erupt in laughter.
It's so funny what gets you through the hard times.
An old Bible verse bubbles through the cloudy fog swirling in my head. Something about Lions and Leopards lying down together with wolfs, cows and Lord knows what else because a kid told them too.
I wonder how long they laid there before they all got up in their own time and went their own way.
