My friend O Johnny ... Branigin challenged me to "List 12 albums that made a lasting impression on you, but only one per band/artist. Don't take long and don't think too hard. Tag 12 friends to do the same, including me, so I can see what you listed. No compilations or greatest hits!"

Okay, I will.

Well I won't tag 12 friends but I'll do the rest.

Abby Road (The Beatles)
Havana Daydreaming (Jimmy Buffett)
Babylon Bus (Bob Marley)
Greatest Stories Live (Harry Chapin)
Son of Schmilssion (Harry Nilsson)
Concert for Bangladesh (George Harrison)
Traveling Wilburys Vol 1 (Traveling Wilburys)
Mirrorball (Sarah McLachlan)
Born to Run (Bruce Springsteen)
Liberty (Gene Cotton)
What's Going On (Marvin Gaye)
Miles of Aisles (Joni Mitchell)

All that without thinking too much about it.

If I think about it, this would take days!

These days, thanks to my growing collection of musical friends who play live music, I'm really into reinterpreting many of the songs and making them into something new.

The originals are all spectacular.

But I love the live stuff!
