A Fantabulous Night for a Moon Dance

I've been to a lot of weddings.

I mean a really lot of them ... performing them, attending them, being in them ... a lot of weddings!

Most are in a church, are pretty standard, play roughly the same music and are very serious affairs.

Then three was last night ... under a full moon that popped over the ocean right on cue.

It was a clear warm night, bare feet in the sand, a carnival of friends, laughter and dancing, drinking and live music, and kissing and dancing.

It was a fantabulous night for a Moon Dance ... and boy did we!

The New Brady Bunch came together.

Sins were made and forgiven at the same time!

Bubbles were blown ... rings were given and taken ... children took over the pool ...

The VooDo Band played Lttle Wing!

Johnny O gave me away and got wasted ... Samuel Adams looked like Jesus ... Dedra looked like Satan ... others looked this way or that ... Bonnie Gaster finally got to be the flower girl.

Yeah, I been to a lot of weddings, but none as fantabulous as last night.

To Jenny Orr and the gang at Marlin Monroes, thank you.

To the entire carnival of friends too.

To the kids and the electronic hugs and the prayers given our way, thank you too.

I have to go now and move on to the next lines in that song ... a wonderful night for romance under the stars up above.
